Q: When did you come down to purchase your vehicles from us here at Squamish Toyota?A: It was June/July 2011Q: What did you buy?Q: What brought you to Squamish Toyota?A: We wanted the reliability of Toyota and hoped to deal with a local outlet. Also, I’ve known Mark [Squamish Toyota’s dealer principle] and Gail for something like 40 years (but who’s counting)!Q: Wow, that’s amazing! So who did you deal with when you came to look at vehicles?A: Primarily Mark [Lightheart] for the vehicle selection but also Blake, and Flemming for the lease paperwork. It was painless, what can I say, it’s not supposed to be an ordeal.Q: So, was there anything special about your purchase experience?A: This was just after the tsunami in Japan, and there were a few supply nisus, but Mark and his team managed to get the vehicles we wanted.Q: That must have been quite an emotional time to buy. In the end, are you pleased with your vehicles and service?A: You bet, probably the best thing we can say, is that you don’t even think about them, they are just reliable. Brad in Squamish Toyota’s service dept. always has our vehicles ready to go on time, and manges to squeeze us in when I’m in a pinch.
Every couple of months we want to feature a few of our fleet sales customers!

In Squamish, we are featuring Sea to Sky Community Services:A long-time local non-profit, known as Sea to Sky Community Services offers a number of opportunities for young adults, women, parents, the developmentally disabled and the homelessthrough the power of donations and volunteerism.
They use Squamish Toyota RAV4’s to service and empower the our community from Lions bay to Squamish to Whistler and Pemberton.
With all of this fantastic weather, golf season has been longer than usual and Squamish Toyota knew just how to celebrate! In September, we sponsored a couple of tournaments in Whistler and Squamish that were a great excuse to hit the links with our friends in the community.
On September 17th at the Squamish Valley Golf Course, the Hospital Foundation held a charity tournament known as the Dr. Laverne Kindree Memorial Golf Tournament that graciously benefits the Orthopaedic surgery program in the Sea to Sky corridor. Squamish Toyota upped the ante by sponsoring the longest drive and gave away free oil changes to any players able to reach the green in one shot (that’s 266 yards!). Everyone was a winner when it came to the bright sunny weather, but ultimately four lucky players won themselves free oil changes at our dealership.
Later that week, Squamish Toyota offered up a 2012 Toyota Tundra to any player in the annual Contractor’s Challenge Golf Tournament that shot a hole-in-one. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any winners, but we did hear that one player came within 4 feet of winning. So close!
Thanks to everyone who came out and we are looking forward to more fun in the coming months as we get ready for the snow!

Squamish Toyota is proud to announce the addition of it’s newest product advisor, Rob Mantini.
Rob joins Squamish Toyota from the Vancouver area with 32 years in both direct consumer and business-to-business sales. Mr. Mantini and his family relocated to the Squamish, Sea to Sky region because of their appreciation for the outdoors and the strength of this local, tightly knit community.
“I’m excited about my partnership with Squamish Toyota, as it’s a family owned business, that offers both new and used cars (not limited to Toyotas) to the North Vancouver, Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish and Sea to Sky Corridor areas,” said Mr. Mantini.”
Mr. Mantini looks forward to helping the team grow, “As an auto dealer in Squamish, that isn’t directly on highway 99, many visitors casually looking for their next Toyota car or truck may miss us. I hope to help break through this barrier, to deliver the no-pressure, quality service our Toyota dealership has come to stand for.”
Congratulations and Welcome To The Team Rob!
